In 2018, we turned a page with an exciting rebrand — Buzz Bingo was born from the legacy of Gala Bingo, bringing a fresh identity and new energy to the much-loved game of Bingo. 2018 also marked the launch of buzzbingo.com, taking the Buzz experience online and connecting players across the UK like never before.
We were proud to celebrate raising an incredible £500,000 for Alzheimer’s Society, our official charity partner. A true testament to the heart of our Buzz community.
We opened the doors to our brand-new Buzz Hub in Nottingham – a dynamic office designed to bring our support centre colleagues together and create space for innovation and collaboration. With the tech tools in place to support connection and integration between teams, the hub is purpose built to support our hybrid way of working.
We launched Buzz Presents – our entertainment brand that delivers unforgettable nights in our clubs. From our very own BADA events to themed parties, our events turn up the volume and fill clubs with energy, music, and memorable nights out.
We expanded our digital world with the launch of Buzz Casino, offering players more ways to play and win, online and on the move.
We acquired Cricklewood and Northampton clubs from Merkur – a big win all round as Cricklewood is the biggest bingo hall in the UK!
We launched our brand new concept – High Street Bingo – in Borehamwood. Right in the centre of the local community, it’s a stylish, lounge-style venue that’s been an instant hit with regulars as well as first-timers.
We made bingo history! Buzz Cricklewood shattered the Guinness World Record for the largest payout in a single bingo game – a jaw-dropping £105,000 during our Mother’s Day Colossus Event!
