We can’t wait

to see you in a Club!

Brilliant! You’re joining the Buzz team in Club – our Customers can’t wait to meet you!

We know what it’s like walking into somewhere new on your first day (we’ve all been there too!) so here we’ve shared some information you might need beforehand, and a little bit about what to expect in your first few days.

What does my

induction look like?

We’re committed to giving you the time to learn everything you need here at Buzz, and alongside your induction programme you’ll quickly move onto our Delivering the Buzz programme.

We don’t expect you to learn all about our business in the first week! There’s lots to learn so we’ve built a programme that’s designed to last your first 13 weeks.

During that time, we’ll get you learning about all the different departments within our Clubs; you might find your natural calling in Slots or Book Sales, or chatting to Customers but you’ll be applying all of your skills so you can help out the team – anywhere, at any time.

Who will be

supporting me?

Your Manager will have a training plan which they’ll work through with you. Your team in Club will also buddy up with you to show you the ropes and make sure you know what to do.

We’re all really supportive here, and we know you’ll have some fun along with learning lots of new skills. You’ll be at the end of those 13 weeks before you know it!

What might be useful to know?

See our FAQ’s below to find out all the answers to your initial questions.

What's the best way of getting to the Club

We know you’ve been there already for interview but here’s a link to our Clubs page so you can find out a little more about the best transport links, where to park etc. Then there will be no stresses or surprises on your first day!

When will my uniform arrive?

What time do I need to get there for?

One of the team will be in touch to confirm your shift pattern and what time to arrive on your first day. If you’ve not had that, do reach out to your Club and check.

What will I be doing on my first day?

Your first day is all about getting to know us and making sure you’re settled in. You’ll go through an induction with us, complete some training and then we’ll get you out there in the middle of the action.

When do I get paid?

Who do I report to Duty Manager / named individual?

What do I need to bring with me?

Yourself and your right to work!
We’ll need to check your ID and right to work before we can get started.
Your welcome letter will give you all the info about what you need to bring, but if you’re not sure then get in touch with your Club.

What should I wear on my first day?

“I feel as though everyone is keen to work with me even though I’m new. The culture and atmosphere of being welcoming and helpful runs through teams, and really is a credit to the company.”
