And.. our Customers can’t wait to meet you!
We know what it’s like walking into somewhere new on your first day (we’ve all been there too!) so here we’ve shared some information you might need to know beforehand, and a little bit about what to expect in your first few days.
We don’t expect you to learn all about our business in the first week! There’s lots to learn so we’ll ease you in gently!
During your first few weeks you’ll get to learn about the different departments. At first you’ll be doing what we do best – getting to know our customers; chatting, serving and helping them!
We’ll be asking you to complete some eLearning so that you have some of the basics you need to know and you’ll be shadowing other members of the team until you feel comfortable to do tasks on your own.
As time moves on you’ll get to learn more about all the different departments in our Clubs so you can help out the team – anywhere, at any time.
We know there’s a fine art to understanding the world of Bingo so your induction could last up to 13 weeks, maybe longer if you’re part time – and that’s ok because we want you to feel really settled with us!
You’ll find that there’s a great team around you who will help you learn everything you need to know. Your Manager has an Induction Plan for you and they will buddy up with someone to show you the ropes.
Everyone is really supportive and alongside having lots of fun, you’ll have completed your induction in no time!
here’s the answers you need
Your club will check their stocks of polo shirts and name badges and place an order when you have your induction. Depending on stock it can take up to 2 weeks for uniform to arrive.
Sizes and preferred name will be recorded after acceptance.
Trousers and shoes will be your own.
Every 4 weeks on a Friday, your manager will confirm the next pay date with you at your induction.
Please ask for the Duty Manger, who will greet you at front of house.
Just your Right to Work documents (the same ones you brought along to your interview).
We would recommend wearing a plain dark coloured top and dark coloured trousers/skirt and footwear. It’s ok to wear black/dark blue jeans but please make sure they are plain and not ripped. (No branded clothing ie Nike, Adidas). Comfort is key so please no sandals etc. Trainers are fine but should be dark coloured and relatively plain.
We’ll also provide you with a money apron on your first day.
